Sherlock Holmes i ogrlica smrti) je zapadnonjemačko-francusko-italijanski crno-bijeli kriminalistički film snimljen 1962. godine u režiji Terencea Fishera. Predstavlja ekranizaciju The Valley of Fear britanskog pisca Arthura Conana Doylea. Naslovni protagonist, koga tumači Christopher Lee, je privatni detektiv Sherlock Holmes koji nastoji pronaći ukradenu Kleopatrinu ogrlicu, a što ga dovodi u sukob sa njegovim starim neprijateljem Profesorom Moriartyjem (čiji lik tumači Hans Söncker). Snimanje je potaknuo njemački producent Artur Brauner, koji je tih godina u Evropi imao izuzetan uspjeh sa niskobudžetnim ekranizacijama kriminalističkih romana Edgara Wallacea. Fisher je, pak, angažiran dijelom i zbog toga što je nekoliko godina ranije s niskim budžetom bio režirao komercijalno neuspješni, ali od kritike hvaljeni Baskervilski pas, u kome se također pojavio Lee (iako u sporednoj ulozi). Scenario je, pak, napisao ugledni sineast Curt Siodmak. Brauner se nadao da bi uspjeh ovog filma mogao iskoristiti za početak nove serije. Do toga, međutim, nije došlo. Samo snimanje su obilježili brojni problemi, uključujući sukob sa Doyleovom zakladom koja je odbila Braunerovu ideju da se radnja premjesti u sadašnjost, kao i Fisherovo nesnalaženje sa njemačkom glumačkom ekipom. Film je dobio miješane kritike i uglavnom se smatra neuspješnim.
