Os 2013 MTV EMAs (também conhecido como MTV Europe Music Awards), a vigésima edição do evento, foram realizados no Ziggo Dome, Amsterdão, Países Baixos, em 10 de novembro de 2013. ^[2]

Foi a primeira vez desde 1997 (quando o evento aconteceu em Roterdão) que o evento ocorreu nos Países Baixos. ^[3]

Houve várias performances do show principal em diferentes locais em Amsterdão para além da Ziggo Dome. A apresentação do DJ neerlandês Afrojack realizado na Melkweg.

Os artistas que mais nomeações receberam foram Justin Timberlake e a dupla Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, com cinco cada. Os artistas mais premiados foram Eminem e Miley Cyrus, com dois galardões cada.
