Marshman fez sua estreia no UFC em 19 de novembro de 2016 no UFC Fight Night: Mousasi vs. Hall 2.[2] Ele enfrentou Magnus Cedenblad e venceu por nocaute técnico no segundo round.[3]
Em 19 de fevereiro de 2017 Marshman enfrentou Thiago Santos no UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Browne.[4] Ele perdeu a luta por nocaute técnico no segundo round.[5]
Marshman enfrentou Ryan Janes no UFC Fight Night: Nelson vs. Ponzinibbio em 16 de julho de 2017.[6] Ele venceu por decisão unânime.[7]
Marshman enfrentou Antônio Carlos Júnior em 28 de outubro de 2017 no UFC Fight Night 119.[8] Ele perdeu por finalização.[9]
