Pachydactylus otaviensis est une espèce de geckos de la famille des Gekkonidae^[1].

Répartition

Cette espèce est endémique de la région d'Oshikoto en Namibie^[1].

Description

L'holotype de Pachydactylus otaviensis^[2], un mâle adulte, mesure 39,4 mm, queue non comprise. Cette dernière est d'une longueur équivalente à celle du corps.

Étymologie

Son nom d'espèce, composé de otavi et du suffixe latin -ensis, « qui vit dans, qui habite », lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, l'Otaviberge^[2].
