Semra is situated to the west and north of Thawe, known for its Thawe Wali Bhawani Maa temple called "Thawe Wali Ma". a significant religious site attracting devotees from various places. Semra is also known for its Ramjanki temple which is the longest in this area and Kali Maa temple in Pashchim Tola, This village is famously known as the Engineers and Teachers Village.
